    it took me 8 months to look for another barbara cartland book,when i found this book on a surplus shop i bought it no hesitation cause i know i wont regret it

    This book is set back in the late 1800 s It was a good clean romanceno sex and suchjust good, clean historic fun

    I have a hard time putting my disappointment is words but I will try My main issue with this book is that the ML and FL romance lacked proper development There should have been a buildup to the love confession by the male lead happens near the end of the book Heck, I don t understand why the female lead loves him either The male lead also lacks proper character development When I read a book I want to be able to immerse myself in the characters and I felt that this book was too shallow to I have a hard time putting my disappointment is words but I will try My main issue with this book is that the ML and FL romance lacked proper development There should have been a buildup to the love confession by the male lead happens near the end of the book Heck, I don t understand why the female lead loves him either The male lead also lacks proper character development When I read a book I want to be able to immerse myself in the characters and I felt that this book was too shallow to allow for that Overall, I felt everything just seems rushed and lacking I am mad and disappointed because it had potential
