    While I really hated the cover and title of this book, I actually really enjoyed the book itself The blurb on the back of the book doesn t give much away and it s not an author I have heard of before, my Mam picked up this book in a local charity shop and passed it on to me after she read it.I enjoyed this light read set in the west of Ireland and unlike the previous book I read this month it was done right No stereotypes, no top of the morning stereotypically language just a good read about fi While I really hated the cover and title of this book, I actually really enjoyed the book itself The blurb on the back of the book doesn t give much away and it s not an author I have heard of before, my Mam picked up this book in a local charity shop and passed it on to me after she read it.I enjoyed this light read set in the west of Ireland and unlike the previous book I read this month it was done right No stereotypes, no top of the morning stereotypically language just a good read about five different families and how there stories are entwined Jenny who is married to an older man who runs a horse stud farm, Chris who lives on a tumbling down farm and her mother who is suffering from Alzheimer s, Carmel who has moved to Australia with her daughter Helen and David who has found world wide success as a Jazz musician later in life.I found this book easy to read, the story hooked me from the first pages and was a welcome relief after a month of let down books and a book slump I enjoyed this book so much that I have bought another book from this author on .All the proceeds of this book go to the Lauralynn hospice for sick children

Biography Taken from FranoBrien I grew up on the south side of Dublin and had a really happy childhood School out, I did a secretarial course, and launched myself into the work of business And there were lots of jobs, a stint in the European Commission in Brussels, and then the setting up of Just Curtains, our interior design company which I run with my sister, Mary LucheriniAlways interested in theatre, my granduncle Professor Liam O Briain, one of the founders of An Taibhdhearc Theatre in Galway, and also a writer, was an influenceIn I Who Is PDF or established McGuinness Books with my husband Arthur McGuinness and we published my first book THE MARRIED WOMAN To make my scribbling worthwhile we decided to donate all the proceeds to LAURALYNN HOUSE CHILDREN S HOSPICE AT THE CHILDREN S SUNSHINE HOME, LEOPARDSTOWN, DUBLIN To date we have published seven books THE MARRIED WOMAN, THE LIBERATED WOMAN, ODDS ON LOVE, WHO IS FAYE THE RED CARPET, FAIRFIELDS and THE PACT We have donated , between sales and donations to the LauraLynn We are very happy to be associated with this most deserving charity which was established by Jane and Brendan McKenna who tragically lost their only two daughters, Laura and Lynn It was their dream to build a Children s Hospice in memory of their girls and at last that dream has been realised and LauraLynn House has opened There were many people associated with the publication of these books, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my friends in the Wednesday Group My editor, Muriel Bolger, my proofreader Vivien Hughes, who volunteer their most valuable services to help the LauraLynn And also Yvonne and Martin of Martone Press, Lucan, Co Dublin, who do all the typesetting of the books free of charge Irish Computers, Nenagh, CoTipperary who service our website free of charge and also Cyclone Couriers, who very generously deliver all the books for us free of charge We are truly grateful to all of you who help Also all family, friends, and business colleagues who help by buying books and donating money to the fund P Needless to say, none of this could possibly have been achieved without the love and support of my darling husband, Arthur.
