I took a long time reading this excellent book by Frank MacEowen I did so because I had been studying shamanism for a while and what is most predominant here in the US is some form of native American shamanism I studied that and found it beautiful but something about it did not feel right My ethnicity is mostly Celtic and when I started to explore in that direction I knew I had found my roots I won't bore you with the rituals I did that made this evident to me but I will tell you that if you are looking for a spiritual path then the work of Frank MacEowen is a very good place to start This book is very thoughtful very well tied together in the way it mixes myth memory tradition and ritual to bring about a sense of belonging in the world and a sense of the importance of developing oneself as a spiritual being Highest recommendation Take your time with it
